Biography:
| My first real video game was DOOM on my cousin's brand new 486. My parents found it too violent so that got revoked real quick. I kept on playing edutainment games (like mother goose and that one where you could color in a dinosaur) until my parents bought me Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, which I think was the first game I ever owned. I pretty much just played racers and sim games until I got Starcraft, which I loved. Eventually in middle school I started getting into shooters with TFC for Half-life and Starsiege Tribes and I got my first computer that could run those games. Later down the road I moved up to Tribes 2 when it was released and played competitively on teamwarfare.com. After that I hit an MMORPG phase for like 6 months when my clan moved over to FFXI Online. I quit when my skin developed an allergic reaction to sunlight. I pretty much stuck to old school shooters (like CS 1.1 and Tribes 2) until I went to college and got my first job and could afford to buy my own computer and games and so I got a PS2 and modded it, started playing games like Metal Gear 2 and GTA San Andreas non-stop. I flunked out, came back home, got ANOTHER job, bought a 360 and most of the computer I have today, started playing Source games and lots of Halo. Today I don't play many games on the PC just because I like the no-nonsense ease of the console and I never have to upgrade. Plus, I can re-sell games when I'm done with them. OMG Dolphins is my XBL GT. |
